Lilly Wachowski Joins Genre-Bending Comedy 'Making A Bridesmaid' as Executive Producer

A New Twist on Bachelorette Tropes

'The Matrix' co-creator Lilly Wachowski has officially joined the production of the dark comedy *Making A Bridesmaid*. Wachowski, through her production company Anarchists United, serves as executive producer on the feature, which subverts horror and comedy conventions by blending bachelorette culture with true-crime obsession.

Plot and Production

Written, directed by, and starring Molly Ratermann alongside Emily Kincaid, the film follows two sisters who attend a bachelorette weekend only to find themselves trapped in a lethal competition for bridesmaid spots. The production was filmed in Lake Tahoe and has completed post-production ahead of a festival run. Finn Bruce and Belstone Pictures will launch worldwide sales at the upcoming American Film Market (AFM).
